Forsknäckarna AB is a whitewater rafting company that specializes in exciting, year-round arrangements and adventures. Number one on our list of specialties is whitewater rafting on the Vindelälven and its tributaries. We also offer winter activities throughout Southern Lapland and in Västerbotten’s inland.

We started our business in 1984 with river running as our only activity and since then we have built up our other activities around river running. Our base camp is in Vikheden, Ekorrsele in the Municipality of Vindeln.
The company and its director of safety are pioneers in this line of business in Scandinavia. Up to the year 2004, our director of safety has made more than 2,600 river runs during a fifteen-year period. Our full-time guides have been subjected to thorough training and make about 150 runs per season.

Our hallmark is to maintain high-quality service and high standards for our guests and to make their time with us moments that they will never forget.
